Good Afternoon Warren Township VIRTUAL Families,
As you are aware, we experienced some issues to begin the school year with our VIRTUAL Option and we have been working hard to continuously improve and to make adjustments that ensure that our students whose families selected the VIRTUAL learning option for the 20-21 school year receive the best experiences we can offer their children with VIRTUAL learning.
Based on the VIRTUAL enrollment and volume of requests for this option, it has become necessary to add more teaching staff to our team. This allows us to balance class sizes and provide more targeted support to our students within the VIRTUAL classroom. At this time, we are rebalancing our classroom rosters so that we can better serve the needs of our students and support instruction. This means that some of our families and their students will receive a new teacher.
Reassigning classes and teachers after the start of the school year is one of the more difficult decisions we have to make. We have done our very best to place students strategically and with great care and thought.
Warren Township's VIRTUAL Option is committed to providing our students with an exceptional learning experience, we know that we still have a way to go and we will continue to grow and improve. We are going to continue to make every effort to ensure that our students have the best learning experiences possible.
If you have any questions, please contact your student's home school or the Office of Educational Programming at 317.869.4349 or 317.869.4350.
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Mrs. Griffin, Assistant Superintendent for Educational Programming
