Senior culinary students are gaining more work experience at The Heirloom event venue in downtown Indianapolis.





Education Profession students lead 4th grade tours through the programs offered at the Walker Career Center. You can visit the programs, too! Join us at the Walker Showcase on Thursday, November 17, 6:00-7:30 pm, enter door 62.

A group of Construction students recently toured the IKORCC (Carpenters’ union) training facility where they learned about careers as a carpenter, millwright, and floor coverer.





The amazing world of technology is introduce in the STEM class at Lowell Elementary. Fortunately, Cadet Teachers are able to experience the preparation and execution of exciting lesson plans like this during their field experience.


Today in our CNA class they used vocabulary words and words they are using in their work setting to create a safety story revolving around costume, trick or treat, or party going safety. The students collaborated in small groups and as an entire class to accomplish a final written piece!

Accounting student Anderson Luu said his work-based learning opportunity at TCU is great learning experience. He said he has learned skills for working in a professional setting and the importance of asking questions when you need help.
