Our Welding students visited the Steamers and Pipe Fitters Union this week to explore postsecondary education/employment opportunities. Many of the students completed applications at the end of the tour. It’s yet another great opportunity for our students! #WCCWeGetItDone





A new partnership with Crystal Catering is giving our culinary students a chance to work in the kitchen of the Indiana Roof Ballroom. The students are excited for the training and experience they’ll gain at the historic event venue.

Manufacturing Career Day will be held at Walker Career Center next Wednesday. Students in Welding, Precision Machining, Engineering, Graphic Design, and Intro to Design classes will have the opportunity to meet nearly 20 local employers to learn about career opportunities.

We’re always looking for new work based learning opportunities for our students, even within the district! The Warren Transportation garage supervisor gave one of our automotive students a tour of the facility as they discussed a possible apprenticeship position.
